One of my favorite things is mixing stripes with different prints; it can definitely be tricky pairing prints though but the key to getting it ‘right’ is to stay in the same color family and to have one of the prints be of smaller scale than the other – this way both prints balance each other out and don’t clash!

Nice outfit! And yes, I agree with you on the stripes, how one should wear different size of stripes to balance them out.
It also helps if the stripes go in a different direction, like your top – horizontal stripes going with your veritical printed shorts.
