Mixing all kinds of elements is my absolutely favorite part about getting dressed.
As you can probably tell from my style- I tend to gravitates towards more casual, effortless looks.
I love mixin & matching dressier pieces with non-dressier pieces hence the ripped skinnies with
this silk pin stripe blouse/pumps. Something about looking undone/unperfect gets me everytime..
On a side note, I tweeted yesterday that I’m contemplating whether or not to chop off my hair to
a short do! I’m kinda bored of my long locks + bangs + ombre hair.. long hair has been a huuuuuuge part of me and I’ve never had it short so cutting it is a big deal. Will keep looking for
inspiration but until then…my long hair will have to do. Like my fishtail braid I decided to
do? It’s in part with wanting to cut my hair… so send ideas of how I can style my hair until I
decide whether to chop it off or not! Can’t wait to hear your ideas!

I think you look gorgeous with your long hair but I understand that you’re ready for something else. I’ve had short to midlength hair for a long time and now I’m finally growing it out. I always loved my short hair but when you get tired of it, it takes forever to get it back to long
In the meanwhile why don’t you try to put it up in a ponytail or a high bun. Very effortless but it will give you a totally different look

OMG PLEASE GET SHORT HAIR!! Haha, but seriously, you would look so good and refreshingly different with, let’s say, a bob a la Arizona Muse, or even a lob, like Alexa Chung. They’re short, but not too TOO short. They would work with you cute face!
And besides, chopping your hair off is such a LIBERATION! I got a pixie cut once, and I’m never going back to super long hair. Short hair is easy, carefree–casual and effortless, too, like you said! It’s easier to be a litte more crazy with shorter hair; it carries “undone/unperfect” styles better than longer hair.

Don’t chop it off! :O I did that a year ago and it’s been taking me forever to grow it back. It’s definitely easier to take care of and fun for a little while but I missed my long hair :/ I guess it’s depends on whether you’re “ready” Lol. Don’t do it if you’re bored!

If you’re uncertain about whether or not you want to go short, you could always cut some short layers in to your hair and pin the longer pieces under and do a faux bob! The best of both worlds.
