Greetings from Maui!
It’s been a super relaxing 4 days so far- feels good to be away from it all; you know to be (kinda) disconnected from technology/social media and really just enjoy life, family and nature.
Definitely much needed vacay after a crazy fashion week.
The people are so warm and welcoming, the weather is of course breathtaking, the views are beyond words and I absolutely love how loooooooooong the days feel here.
I’ve been too busy enjoying my stay with my family that at times the last thing I wanna worry about is taking photos for the blog… sometimes you just gotta put the camera down and enjoy the moment, you know?
Anyway, will be here ’till the weekend so hopefully I’ll be able to capture a few more moments.
In the meantime, enjoy some of Maui through these photos…
oh and I’m obsessed with the shave ice here!

Are you at Kaanapali shores! It looks like it through your sunglasses! I stayed there last month when we got married!
So many places to see! Make sure you go to big beach, the lave fields, DT Flemming (awesome for body boarding), the blow hole!

I just have to give you a few more places you MUST check out before you leave Maui.
1.Local Boys Shaved Ice. Get the ice cream on the bottom and the cream on top…you’re on vacation!
2.Something special…this means it aint cheap! Whalers Locker in Lahaina worth a look even if you don’t buy!
3.Biasa Rose in Pa’ia…the ladies there are really nice and they have a great selection!
4.Pa’ia Fish Market…um everything is AMAZING!
5.Kihei Cafe…if its not sold out you HAVE to try the cinnamon roll french toast WITH coconut syrup! They’re a cash only place FYI.
6.Tiki Lounge in Kihei is CRAZY good pizza and drinks! I LOVE the BBQ Chicken Pizza.
7.I know this might sound odd but we had lunch one day at Tommy Bahamas in Wailea, fish tacos came with plantains and some bomb mango pudding mix…DIE! SO SO SO SO good…even if you go just for the plantains, it’s on the dessert menu!
Enjoy Maui…I’ll be there in 8 days…can’t wait!

Awww yay!! I love when I see pictures of Maui through the eyes of visitors. I hate to admit it, but sometimes I do take advantage of all the beauty that surrounds me all the time here. I’m glad to hear that you’re enjoying your time with your family! I’m sure you have a busy and hectic schedule back home, so you totally deserve to disconnect from the “real world” and unwind.
