Ever since I can remember, I’ve always made lists for everything. To-do lists, shopping lists, goal lists, dream travel list and so on. My dream travel lists was always an extensive one. I always dreamt of traveling the world, learning about different cultures, trying different cuisines and taking photos with iconic backdrops.

One of my top destinations that I’ve always wanted to explore was Greece. Anywhere between Athens to Santorini, or Zakynthos Island and to, of course, Mykonos. As my passion and appreciation for traveling continued to expand, I became more and more intrigued to visit Greece. Something about Athens’ ancient landmarks and Santorinis’ black sand beaches drew me to see what Greece was all about.

As I crossed off destinations off my dream travel list more and more, Greece was still the one place where I had yet to visit. I was able to team up with Mr & Mrs Smith to make one of my dreams happen! Off I went to GREECE! Lucky me!

Mr & Mrs Smith is a collection of curated hotels carefully selected from all over the world. The team has scouted left and right and stayed in hundreds of hotels to narrow down the best of the best boutique hotels across the globe to make our lives easier when booking a room. Their expertise and their reviews on each hotel make booking so much more easy and convenient. It’s reassuring to know the low-down for each hotel you’re interested in before actually booking.

What I love is that you can search by “Budget Boutique Hotels”, “Child-Friendly”, “Spa Hotels” and ” Hotel Villas and Cottages” just to name a few. Makes searching for the right hotel that much more easier! Love that!

They told me to pack my bags and jet off to GREECE! ahhhh! I couldn’t be more excited to finally be able to experience this on my own.

Our first stop was Athens. We checked into their super cool, cutting-edge hotel called NEW HOTEL. It was everything I expected and more! It was quirky, yet sophisticated and sexy. The staff was hip and young. The decor is pretty, bold and fun (most of their furniture found in the hotel was restored so that it could be NEW again). It’s locally centered from the Acropolis which was a definite plus. The rooftop/deck provided some of the best cocktails drinks I’ve had paired with a ‘too pretty to eat’ charcuterie plate. On top of that, it overlooked the beautiful view of Athens.

My favorite part of the hotel was the food- it was contemporary, fresh and so delicious! Their menu had several of Mediterranean dishes I love like herb risotto and sea bass! Yum!

Excited to share my photos from Athens in partnership with Mr & Mrs Smith! Stay tuned for the next two stops we made!

The pretty terrace view!

I’m a huge fan of succulents, so my heart jumped for joy when I saw they had them all over! So cute!

What I woke up to… view from my balcony!

Perfect set up!

So UNREAL. Felt truly lucky to be able to see the Acropolis and Odeon of Herodes Atticus.

I loved the sink/vanity area in our room! So futuristic chic.
