Now on to my quick 48hour trip to New York a few weeks ago. I was in town for a special in-store event with Piperlime (they started carrying our tees!!!) to host the launch of my new tees being sold there. It was a dream come true to see our tees being sold in an actual store and not just online- got me a little teary. It’s been a long road to get to where we’ve gotten but with all the handwork and struggle, I’m beyond proud of the growth of our brand and team!
Before it was time to host the event, I had all day to roam around the city, eat and do some shopping. Only way I could pull off a full day of running around was if I wore my trusty and favorite boots.
Being in New York definitely brings me back memories of when I first dreamed of visiting and dreaming BIG! Now, it feels like just yesterday that I was dreaming that! It always feels great to be back in the big apple- even if its only for a New York minute.
Been so obsessed with this little Proenza Schouler cross body bag ( i like it inbluetoo & white!); it fits my essentials and its the perfect ‘on-the-go’ kinda bag! Also, it’s been super handy for all my recent travels! I always take a cross body bag with me when I go to the airport; I carry my passport, wallet, and favorite lipstick to keep things within reach!
Favorite boots everrrrrrr… well, besides the Dicker boots too! Top 2 for sure!
One of my highlights of this day in Paris was visiting my friend Morgane from Sézane, which you might remember from my first time visiting Paris last year. I flew out last summer to shoot her lookbook (you can see it HERE) and we instantly clicked, we became friends ever since. I love her + her amazing brand! We visited her new studio/showroom and was in awe with how beautiful it was. I felt so inspired to be in there- the energy, the interior design, the clothes/shoes/accs, the fresh flowers, the white walls, the wall inspiration, the lighting… I mean, it was endless. Such a beautiful space.
Her line is doing amazing and Im so happy and proud of her, Coco (her business partner!) and the rest of the team! Excited to share photos of the inside of her studio soon! You will love it!
Didn’t know what to wear to visit Morgane so I made sure to put together something she’ll approve. This white button down has proven to be one of my favorite pieces in my closet- it’s just so versatile. I was obviously a little inspired by the 90’s movie, Clueless, but then again who isn’t? x
