Orange Love.

Bonjour! Taking you back to last month when I went to Paris and had the best time of my life! Seems like so long ago and I feel a bit weird posting these photos but I still have several photos from Paris to share with you so lets start with this cozy and bold look.

Since we stayed at our close friends Betty (which btw, she just relaunched her new site today!! yay!) and Mathieu’s flat, it was like closet paradise because Betty has the most insane closet filled with vintage, designer, unique pieces, sneakers, handbags, etc! I didn’t pack that many coats for Paris so I was fortunate to raid Betty’s closet! Eeek!

I immediately went for this amazing bright orange faux fur coat because I knew I wanted to stand out against the Eiffel Tower. It kept me warm and I felt uber cool in it too. Nothing seemed more perfect than spending time with my close friends IN Paris and wearing an awesome faux fur coat that stood out! I took a box of macarons to see the Eiffel Tower because well… it was fitting.

Make sure to check back in everyday this week for a new look and new photos! I’m finally back in LA and in the groove of things so I won’t go days without blogging anymore! It’s been hard because of my traveling and I’ll also be honest… I’ve been feeling really uninspired with blogging. It’s been hard to get excited about posting, not sure the real reason behind it but I guess it was just a little slump I was going through. I feel refreshed again and ready to go especially after attending the rStyle conference in Dallas this past weekend! So be ready!  Thanks for sticking around, it means the world!

Oh, Paris!

Bonjour de Paris!

I’ve been living the Paris dream for the last couple of days and I’ve been loving and enjoying every second of it. I arrived two days ago and although it was such a long trip; 15+ hours of traveling, a layover in Montreal and a missed flight, it was all worth it. We settled into the adorable Thoumieux Hotel, which is only a few mins away from the Eiffel Tower, and were greeted by the lovely Morgane from Sézane. Our room was the cutest, most charming room ever filled with clashing prints on the wall, curtains, carpet.

Morgane was very sweet to welcome us with a cool vintage luggage filled with goodies (see below) which would be helpful during my stay in Paris- like the mini polaroid camera and scrapbook to document my trip in. After a quick rest, we got ready and headed to have lunch then walked to the Eiffel Tower to see the view from the top! Being as it was my first time in Paris, I was completely thrilled to 1) be in Paris and 2) visit the Eiffel Tower. It was magical. Only real word to describe how I felt, really.

After a couple of hours taking photos of the Eiffel Tower and being up at the top, we walked to a cute little street to get some ice-cream to wrap up our first day! We ended the night having an amazing French dinner!

Always dreamt of visiting Paris and my dream is finally came true! It’s beautiful and beyond. Excited to share my diary of Paris with you as well as my time spent with Morgane and the shoot we are having! Enjoy.. Au Revoir!

Also, wanted to share a super cool feature that I’m very honored to be a part of. Refinery29 named me a rising star for their 30 Under 30 feature from L.A. Pretty flattered and so humbled to have been chosen for this list. I would love it if you check out the feature here.

Thank you Caroline, Piera, Sarah, Gabriela, Clark and R29 for the feature!
