Since fall season is already here, and the weather has finally started to cool down in L.A, I’m finally able to shop for this season’s staples! I’ve made a small list of pieces I need to hunt down in order for me to have a cozy yet stylish fall (like: bomber jacket, knitted sweater, tan leather jacket, leather skinnies and of course some boots/booties)
I’m super picky when it comes down to finding the right boots because 1) they have to be comfortable (duh!) and 2) timeless. After searching online and in store for a couple of months, I was ready to give up on finding “the ones”. Over the weekend however, i tried on these Isabel Marant Dicker boots and instantly fell in love. We’ve all seen them everywhere, and even though I didn’t think much of them because I didn’t feel like they were anything special, I pranced around in them at the IM store on Melrose to see if they were “the ones”. The first boot I slipped on, sold me- yep! They were IT alright! They’re soooo comfortable and the neutral color makes it so easy to be versatile, plus the more worn in these boots get with time, the cooler they’ll look! So I’m super excited I took these babies home with me! They’re a great investment, and they will definitely look great for all seasons!
What boots are on your wish list this fall season? I’m also craving knee length boots! Any recommendations?

A few other favorite boots for the season:
One of my favorite things about fall is the warm, muted color palettes surrounding the season. It’s refreshing to stay away (kind of) from all the bright colors we were seeing during spring/summer. Greys, browns, and even metallics like gold, bronze and silver make for the perfect color combos during this season!
This amazing plaid crepe zipper jacket by L’Agence will help transition my looks from day to night. It was the right item to layer over one of my favorite dresses over the weekend.
Can’t wait for the rest of fall to really arrive in LA- it’s still a little warm. I’m looking forward to beanie weather!
Happy Wednesday and don’t forget to support #WatchHungerStop.. check out my post below.

One of my favorite things to do with my wardrobe is mixing different prints, textures and colors. Finding the right things to complement each other can be tricky so I try to work around one main thing I want to focus on. For this look, I wanted the camo pants to do all the talking so I knew I wanted everything else to be of a dark color palette so that the main focus was the pants.
Although black can be pretty boring at times, I figured the camo itself was already fun, bold and loud enough that a black blouse wouldn’t look too plain with the pants. Then, I thought a lace black blouse would be genius to go with it! It added some softness, texture and eclectic-ness to the overall look! The little details like the layered necklaces and fuchsia bag add the right amount of New York coolness!
For one of the shows I attended, I wore this outfit minus the boots! I wore this look with my studded valentino’s for more of a feminine look… I switched them out after I realized I had to walk for the remainder of the day! Oh the New York life- always have to carry an extra pair of flat shoes in my bag!
