Track Meet.

It’s nice to switch out your skinny jeans or your leather mini to something even more comfier and sleeker…. leather tracking pants!

I hardly wear tracking pants, not even at home, but when they’re leather and look this cool, I wish I could wear them everyday. Since the weather was a bit cold and gloomy this day, a soft turtleneck was the only thing that would be keep warm up top.

Now I know what I’ll be traveling in for my next trip… leather tracking pants! Yes!

For our lunch break, we decided to finally check out brunch at the Ace Hotel in Downtown LA. We’ve been so excited that the Ace finally opened and could only imagine how much cooler DTLA will get in the next couple of years.

We shared plates so we opted for the big breakfast plate, ricotta pancakes, and a grilled cheese with lattes. The big breafast and ricotta pancakes were ahhh-maazing. Probably the best pancakes I’ve had. We didn’t care for the grilled cheese- kinda sucked, so skip it if you eat there!

We sat outside to enjoy a gloomy but beautiful day. The sitting area is probably my favorite… it reminds me of a cute little Parisienne cafe! Oh… the roof top at the Ace has a cool view of DTLA, awesome bar, pool and lounge area. Definitely one of my go-to places as of late! xodowntown1 downtown

Le Stripes.

My first time wearing knee length boots and must say, that it won’t be my last, especially since I found these perfect ones. Kept it very simple and classic with a LST (little striped tee) which is always a go-to staple for me.

How are you guys sportin’ your knee length boots? Only problem for me is pairing them with jeans! Any ideas?

Excited it’s the weekend, TGIF! Want to wish you guys a happy weekend.

On to the Next.

One of my favorite things to style is a gray sweatshirt! It’s the most basic item, yet it’s such a huge staple in ones wardrobe. It works miracles! It may look challenging to style a plain sweatshirt, but really you can have so much fun with it.

For me, I always try to dress it up since it’s already simple. Whether it’s with fancy earrings or a blinged out necklace to a sequin skirt, the possibilities are endless. For this particular look, I wanted to play around with different looks/textures!

This amazing skirt, which is so perfect for fall/winter (can’t wait to wear it with rain boots, when it finally rains in LA),  was the right touch to balance off the sporty puffer and sweatshirt. It definitely softs up the look! The tartan print also is also fun to add for color and boldness.

Writing you from NYC right now, but catching a flight in 2 hours back home! It was an incredible two days in the city with Victoria Secret events! See you in LA soon!
