Sea Side in Barceloneta.

After a full day of fun activities in Barcelona with the Mango team, blogger friends and our readers during day 2, we had some time to rest, take naps, shop or do whatever we wanted before we got ready for our fancy dinner!

This night, we headed to Barceloneta to have a nice dinner by the beach at the super cute Mamarosa restaurant!

I wanted to dress up my favorite pair of boyfriends jeans (seriously, the best fit and wash.. and rips!) with a fancier top and heels… you can’t tell in the photos, but this blouse had the prettiest texture and color with a jeweled neckline! No need for a necklace! Threw on my go-to leather Anine Jacket for a tough look… and of course to keep me warm by the beach!

Surfs Up.

One of my favorite activities Mango had planned for us during day 2 was filled with water, small waves, maintaing good balance and tons of fun! We went (standup) paddle board surfing in Barceloneta and being that it was my first time, I was terrified. For one, I hardly know how to swim and two, I’m afraid of being in the ocean. Although I was excited to try something new, I was especially nervous to step out of my comfort zone but I knew I would regret it if I didn’t try it.

Once we stepped into our wet suits, I knew there was no turning back. We had such a fun crew teaching us the basics that I instantly fell confident and comfortable! The beautiful weather and calm waves made it easy to paddle board in. There were three steps into paddle boarding; One being you lay down and paddle with your arms (I did great here!), Two, you get on your knees and maintain your body straight + sturdy while paddling with  your paddle left and right and Third, standing up! This was so hard for me; my legs were shaky and I couldn’t find my balance that eventually I ended up falling. I fell unexpectedly,  and hit a rock on my toes and it was the most painful feeling ever. Two of my toes were badly injured and within a few hours they were so bruised, that I could hardly walk!

I wouldn’t change anything about this experience though, I’m so thankful for the opportunity to try something so new to me especially in a beautiful city like Barcelona!

My first dip into the water!

After surfing, we changed into our clothes and hung out by the beach as we waiting to head to lunch!

My essentials: Raen shades ( absolutely becoming my favorite sunnies lately) and my go-to traveling clutch I take with me on every trip!

We’re all standing up! This was so hard to do; definitely a good workout!

Since I injured my toes, I couldn’t wear close toe shoes so these havaiana’s came in handy!

Black & White.

A black and white combo is always classically good and for my second day in the city, I decided to keep it classic. We spent the whole day at the roof top #mangosummer pool party and afterwards we headed to the nearest Mango store so that we can help pick an outfit with our reader! Adriana, my winner/reader, was so much fun to shop with.. we went ahead and picked some staples that she needed for her wardrobe!

Since we did a lot of walking, I knew I wanted to be comfortable (as always) so I switched out my heels for my trusty ol’ Cons. I love how laid-back yet cool it makes the rest of my outfit.. kind of imperfect.

Also, I loved hanging out with my good friends Mike & Gabby, power duo, from Cup of Couple blog; Photographers + Videographers + creatives, they’re so talented. Always a good shoot with them! Thank you Gabby + Mike for my photos!
