Our second day in Miami, we decided to keep things mellow and enjoy a full day of being by the pool. For half of the day, we laid out, dipped in the pool and enjoyed sippin’ on piña coladas, guacamole + chips, fish tacos and shrimp ceviche. A relaxed day of doing absolutely nothing but enjoy amazing company, food and conversations.
After being by the pool most of the day, we went back to our room to rest and work on a couple of emails before we headed off to the beach. We drove down to South Pointe beach a couple of hours before the sun set and settled down, listened to music, got in the water, wrote sweet sayings in the sand and finally watched the sun set beautifully.
Hadn’t had a relaxed day like this day in a while.. what was so perfect about this trip was that it was not a work trip. It was a little getaway to freshen up and relax before going at it again. Best of all? Got to experience it with my close friends Betty and Mathieu, and of course Temoc!
Miami is all about bright colors, cool prints and art deco inspired everything… but for me, I packed key pieces that will literally go with everything!
With all the bright fun colors I packed, I had to balance it off with a basic color that will be versatile. White was the perfect color for Miami. It’s just so pretty, fresh and kinda sexy! These strappy sandals have been my go-to now that’ we’re back in MIA from Key West.
Tip: Always pack a pair of strappy white sandals to your summery destination… and also a pair of white converse! They come in handy!

Hello from the MIA!
Whoa! It feels like a while since my last post.. and well it has, a bit? After our fun adventure in Orlando at Universal Studios and hanging with the Simpsons.. we drove off to Miami the next morning for some beach, sun and good food!
After a couple of hours of driving, we finally arrived in the 305.. we checked into our lovely 5-star hotel and rested for the night. The next morning we headed downstairs to check out the pool and to order some food. My go-to drink was a piña colada and it totally kept me cool under the crazy 90+ degree weather.
Only right to wear bright colors in Miami.. i mean, it goes hand in hand. These shorts were totally made for the beachy, sunny weather! Enjoy our first day in Miami!
