The weather is getting nicer and nicer each day that passes by in LA and I can’t complain. Short shorts, strappy sandals and those aviators I never seem to take off are the perfect combo to get me through a 90 degree day!
For crazy hot days like these, I have to rely on flowy tops like this one from Free People from Nordstromwhich is so easy breezy! Now I’m craving a beachy destination thanks to this tropical print…
Perfect little white shorts that sit right on my hips. The buttons are a nice details when you tuck in your top!
This blouse would be so cute with ripped black skinny jeans!
Beyond cute! Love the knots and how strappy they are… the neutral color is ace!
Sometimes the coolest outfits are those that you throw on without much thought behind it. The ones that are simple in color and silhouette. Those looks that you can make look different with just one twist.
I switched it up a bit with my cardi that I picked up from Nordstrom because instead of throwing it on over a tee, I thought it would be fun to wrap a belt around it for a more sophisticated look. I made sure to keep everything neutral in grey to fit the mood I was having plus it was easy to find matchy-matchy pieces in color over at nordstrom because they carry just about every color!
The leopard clutch was the perfect touch to break-up the palette. Don’t be afraid to keep things simple. Instead of wearing your oversized cardi over a top, wear a pretty lace bralette and wrap your cardi with a belt- the cute detail of the bra peeking will be the ultimate detail!
Gotta run now, but wanted to wish you a beautiful Tuesday!
A little soft palette to help get me through a little Monday gloom in LA yesterday. Picked up these pieces a few days ago at one of my favorites, Nordstrom. Sometimes it’s hard for me to run out to the Topshop store because traffic that way is insane (at the Grove in LA), so I’m happy I can rely on Nordstrom online to carry the brand and deliver it right to my doorstep!
When I put my outfits together I either think of a color palette, a statement piece or the day I’m having and go from there. I thought it would be nice to focus on color palette for this particular look. The blush tone sweater was too good to pass up and pairing it with this neutral color coat and ripped skinny jeans was the icing on the cake!
