Sometimes the coolest outfits are those that you throw on without much thought behind it. The ones that are simple in color and silhouette. Those looks that you can make look different with just one twist.

I switched it up a bit with my cardi that I picked up from Nordstrom because instead of throwing it on over a tee, I thought it would be fun to wrap a belt around it for a more sophisticated look. I made sure to keep everything neutral in grey to fit the mood I was having plus it was easy to find matchy-matchy pieces in color over at nordstrom because they carry just about every color!

The leopard clutch was the perfect touch to break-up the palette. Don’t be afraid to keep things simple. Instead of wearing your oversized cardi over a top, wear a pretty lace bralette and wrap your cardi with a belt- the cute detail of the bra peeking will be the ultimate detail!

Gotta run now, but wanted to wish you a beautiful Tuesday!

A little soft palette to help get me through a little Monday gloom in LA yesterday. Picked up these pieces a few days ago at one of my favorites, Nordstrom. Sometimes it’s hard for me to run out to the Topshop store because traffic that way is insane (at the Grove in LA), so I’m happy I can rely on Nordstrom online to carry the brand and deliver it right to my doorstep!

When I put my outfits together I either think of a color palette, a statement piece or the day I’m having and go from there. I thought it would be nice to focus on color palette for this particular look. The blush tone sweater was too good to pass up and pairing it with this neutral color coat and ripped skinny jeans was the icing on the cake!

About a week ago, I showed you how I styled my favorite go-to skinny jeans in this post… kinda easy breezy with classic pieces like a white button up + oxfords.

For this week, I’m showing you how I styled this relaxed fit boyfriend jeans from Citizens of Humanity via Nordstrom. I always change between skinny and boyfriend because for me, they’re the most versatile kinda jeans to have. These boyfriend ones sit right on my hip so the slouchiness is extra comfy, which I love.

A little stripe top, pumps and pop of color never fails to make any boyfriend jeans look good… yes, even if your own boyfriends hates them.

Loving all the new stuff Nordstrom currently carries, with the hottest trends to carrying classic pieces too. Their denim selection however is my favorite because its a wide variety of styles and they have some of the best brands, you can’t beat that!

Don’t forget to pick up your favorite pair… especially since fall season is already here!
