Sometimes the coolest outfits are those that you throw on without much thought behind it. The ones that are simple in color and silhouette. Those looks that you can make look different with just one twist.
I switched it up a bit with my cardi that I picked up from Nordstrom because instead of throwing it on over a tee, I thought it would be fun to wrap a belt around it for a more sophisticated look. I made sure to keep everything neutral in grey to fit the mood I was having plus it was easy to find matchy-matchy pieces in color over at nordstrom because they carry just about every color!
The leopard clutch was the perfect touch to break-up the palette. Don’t be afraid to keep things simple. Instead of wearing your oversized cardi over a top, wear a pretty lace bralette and wrap your cardi with a belt- the cute detail of the bra peeking will be the ultimate detail!
Gotta run now, but wanted to wish you a beautiful Tuesday!
A little soft palette to help get me through a little Monday gloom in LA yesterday. Picked up these pieces a few days ago at one of my favorites, Nordstrom. Sometimes it’s hard for me to run out to the Topshop store because traffic that way is insane (at the Grove in LA), so I’m happy I can rely on Nordstrom online to carry the brand and deliver it right to my doorstep!
When I put my outfits together I either think of a color palette, a statement piece or the day I’m having and go from there. I thought it would be nice to focus on color palette for this particular look. The blush tone sweater was too good to pass up and pairing it with this neutral color coat and ripped skinny jeans was the icing on the cake!
Hi loves! Here is another set of photos from my trip to Oaxaca a couple of weeks ago. We visited Hierve el Agua,an amazing site where you’ll see a natural infinity pool overlooking the valley and a rock formation that resembles cascades of water, as a day trip and I must say, it’s been the coolest experience to date.
It took about an hour to arrive to our destination plus some hiking, but once we saw the killer view, we couldn’t help but jump with joy! The windy road was tough but spending the day in Hierve el Agua made everything worth it. It was beautiful.
Made me reflect on life, made me appreciate everything I have and admire the beauty that surrounded us. It gave me such a happy feeling to be there.
Here you’ll see what I’m talking about… enjoy! xo
Natural infinity pool? Heck yes!!!
This cute little dress was the perfect piece to stand out amongst all the mountains and greenery!
The rock formation in the background that resembles a waterfall- freakin’ amazing!!!
