Last month I took a few days off to visit the city of lights, Paris! It’s by far one of my favorite places, not only for it’s romantic charm but it always feels like a fairytale.
We stayed in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, my favorite neighborhood- where we walked everywhere from Pont des Arts to Musee d’Orsay and stopped at all of the little shops in between. It took me a couple of trips to really loooove Paris. Once I got to really experience what Paris is all about, besides the croissants and cafés, I adored it!
Paris is one of those cities that feels nostalgic even if you’re visiting for the first time. I’ll write my favorite places to visit and things to do on my next post from Paris, stay tuned!
London is one of my favorite cities- the street style, the hustle & bustle, the proper way of speaking english, the double-decker buses, the bright red phone booths, fish & chips, I mean, how could it not be a favorite?
So I was excited to find out I would be traveling to London with one of my favorite brands, French Connection. I’ve always loved everything that they’ve carried from clothing, shoes to accessories and even house ware. I always end up finding the cutest pieces that are versatile yet fun, likethis white sweater I got a couple of months ago.
I did a lot of sightseeing, tons of picture taking and grubbed on too much fish & chips but I felt very British by the time we had to close out our trip which was great. The most exciting part about my trip was getting to hang with the French Connection team, checking out their new fall collection and getting to attend their A/W ’14 Campaign press preview launch party! It was all sorts of fun; with the theme being magic, rabbits, and one of London’s biggest magicians, Troy Von Scheibner.
Here’s a small diary of what my trip looked with French Connection! Hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed being there!
Special thank you to French Connection for having me! xo
Room service was always enjoyable especially when the spread looks like that!
Finally! My last share of photos from the beautiful state of Oaxaca.
Words can’t describe how much I love and adore my country- México, but most importantly how proud I am to be Mexican. States like Oaxaca definitely take my appreciation for my country, people, culture and history to another level. Oaxaca has definitely become one of my top destinations to travel to, get away and enjoy the richness of what they have to offer.
Take a peek at what I’m talking about… more than likely, you’ll fall in love too. Enjoy!
Te quiero mi México lindo y querido!
ps- Also, check out the cool video from my good friend Fernando from one of my favorite Oaxacan restaurants in L.A, Guelaguetza, made of me during our first trip to oaxaca back in December… forgot to share the first time, so here it is (down below)!
