After jetting off to warm weather a couple of weeks ago, I decided I needed to visit one of my favorite cities to hang with one of my favorite friends because I was craving to be bundled up in layers in Paris while sippin’ on lattes, macaroons and taking long strolls near the Louvre.
The weather was just right- not too cold, not pouring. It was perfect enough to wear a couple of layers while not freezing my butt off. The first time I was in Paris, I visited Chateau de Versailles but were unlucky to actually go inside because we arrived a bit late. This time however, I made sure I went inside because it’s always been a dream and it’s truly inspiring!
This is the outside of the front part of the castle… it’s so magical! Sharing some photos from the inside soon. I wore our favorite knit sweater (which is back in stock!) and although its a chunky knit, I was still able to layer it with a jacket and scarf! Can’t wait to sport the knit with denim cut offs and my isabel marant dicker boots for a more spring look! It’s so versatile!
Day 3 in Paris was probably one of my favorite days. We got started a little later because we slept in a bit; being jet lagged is the worst feeling! We met up with our fam Betty + Mathieu for lunch at Colette- a go-to destination in Paris for tourists, locals and fashion enthusiasts; a definitely must see store… We had a long lunch while chatting about everything and anything then headed upstairs to check out the store full of cool tees, gadgets, books, knick-knacks, sunglasses, wallets, and ready-to-wear clothing.
We hung out for a couple hours and before we knew it, it was 6pm already- a bit bummed we woke up late this day as I wanted to take full advantage of my “free day” and do a bit more sight seeing and shopping for my loved ones. We quickly got ready to head to the Palace of Versailles before sunset…. I know, I couldn’t believe I was going to visit the palace!
It was such a dream to walk up to the Palace and prance around such a historical landmark. It was the most beautiful scene I’ve witnessed; it felt magical, inspiring and charming.
Definitely one of the best memories I have to cherish! Below are some photos of what we documented for day 3, enjoy!
