I’m all about being comfortable while not jeopardizing looking stylish. This week’s Currently/Craving is all about just that- comfort x stylish. A sporty look is something I’ve always been a fan of… ever since my younger days.
I remember always throwing a pair of cool Nike sneakers to my looks- with dresses or shorts. I tried to always have the coolest backpack and just have some sort of ‘sporty’ element. Now, I still try to apply a bit of sportiness to my style but in a bit more cool subtle way.
I love sneakers (! have a pretty nice collection, I must say) and lately I’ve been on a work out kick for the last few months so buying sporty gear is essential not only for my workouts but for my personal style!
Splurge on a nice pair of sneakers and pair them with a leather mini skirt and a white crisp button up shirt for that cool-girl-effortless look! I will share my sporty look soon with a mini and button up! Stay tuned!
Loving the combination of leather skinnies with cool sneakers with this look. These NB 420 sneakers have definitely proven to be versatile yet comfy. I read reviews on them and although people were complaining about not being that comfortable, I have to disagree.
They come a little narrow and might fit a little snug, so make sure to go up 1/2 size. My foot is narrow to begin with so they’re perfect for me. They’re very lightweight which I love! Can’t wait to wear them with dresses!
Every morning I like to do some of my favorite things like grab coffee at my local coffee shop(s) and/or grab flowers at the LA Flower mart before heading to the office. It’s a treat of mine and makes me feel happy!
I like to alternate between coffee shops so that I don’t get bored of the same thing. My girl and I headed to Intelligentsia Coffee right before work and grabbed our faves: vanilla latte and chai tea latte paired with a croissant for me and a blueberry yogurt muffin for her, yummy! Afterwards, I headed to the flower mart to pick up a few bunches of garden roses- which are my absolute favorite aside from peonies!
Hope you guys like these small glimpses of my day to go along with my ootd!
An oversized utilitarian jacket over a tee and skirt always gets me out of a little “what should I wear?” crisis. Nothing major, but it always does the trick.
One of my top 10 items that I always say to invest in for building up your wardrobe with key pieces is a utilitarian jacket. I like to call it the versatile jacket- whether in khaki or army green, it goes with just about anything you wear it with! Perfect transitional jacket too from summer to fall.
Gotta run now, I have some errands to do and will be visiting the OC Fair! I’m so excited! Happy Wednesday! xx
