Yesterday we celebrated Día de Muertos and it’s one of my favorite Mexican traditions of the year! Day of the Dead for those of you who don’t know is a holiday we celebrate in Mexican culture, that pays homage & remembrance to our ancestors + family + friends who have passed away. It’s a joyful celebration of life rather than somber one. I love honoring my roots and celebrating my loved ones who are no longer with us.

This year is extra special because I get to share my beautiful Mexican culture and tradition with my Bebe Matisse! I’m looking forward to teaching him more about it as he gets older and celebrating together! 🫶🏽

Another special part of DDLM is how my sisters and I made this a yearly sister tradition where the three of us dress up together. I love we get to bond while celebrating our roots!
