Up until pretty recent tie-dye was considered a trend of the past. Worn by hippes and flower children in the 70’s then became stuff of elementary children, DIY gifts and salty haired Californian surfers! Where t-shirts and sweatshirts might have been the most obvious and expectable choice back then - the new spring/summer 2019 tie-dyes have a more modern feel. From the color combinations to the fabrics and unexpected shapes, the new tie-dye has elevated and become more fashion forward.
