Cozy Cords.

So happy that the weather in LA has dropped dramatically. I can finally pull out all the knits, puffy jackets and corduroys to keep me warm while looking stylish.

These corduroys are probably going to be on repeat because they’re the perfect item to re-wear for the holidays and the winter season… I’m thinking of pairing it with a plaid flannel, a cute beanie and some chandelier earrings for Christmas!

How do you like to style your corduroys? Share!

Feeling so cozy in this warm ribbed sweater.

I love how these corduroys elongate my legs… they’re so flattering!

I love layering! I always like to wear a longer tee underneath my sweater so that it peaks through.

Ruffled Up.

Hello there loves! I was traveling for work and I’m finally back hence the lack in posting. Nowadays, the posting has been a little slower than usual but I promise you its for good reason. New things to share soon!

Anyway, this awesome ruffled Storets top totally has this 70’s vibe. It’s a bit whimsical to me; very Chloe! I’m all for 70’s but I know it can be a little tricky to style certain pieces without looking straight out of That 70’s Show.. so I wanted to add my own personal flare.

I paired it with none other than my favorite things.. ripped jeans! The juxtaposition between the blouse, rips and python print boots, gives the 70’s vibe a much more modern take.

Don’t forget those aviators for the head to toe 70’s modern look! xx

I love the detail of buttoning it up all the way. Gives it a more clean look!

The half tuck. Yep, one detail you have to learn how to master so that everything looks less put together. Perfectly imperfect, you know?

Rips and frayed hems are all the rage! They’re so easy to do a DIY on… get your scissors out!

Roll up your sleeves… that’s always one of my go-to’s when wearing long sleeve shirts.

Le Stripes.

I love a good ol’ striped top. It’s one of the most classic items you can have in your wardrobe that is versatile, effortless and kinda sexy if you ask me. A must have staple!

I stock up on striped tops in different colors, styles and fabrics because it’s one of my favorite pieces of clothing to have- it’s also one of my favorite things to pack when I travel. A stripe top always make for a good photo, especially anywhere in europe for their amazing backdrops! Paree, anyone? Or Venice maybe? Plus, it’s a seasonless piece that you can wear year round.

This knit one from Storets is a bit different from all the other ones I have. It snugs you on all the right places and it’s so comfy and warm. I thought pairing it in a more laidback-cool kind of way to attend a creative meeting, visit a museum and do a little shopping ¬†would get me through the day quite stylishly!

Here are some easy tips to style stripe tops:

  • Converse and rip jeans are always a great combo to combine together with stripes
  • A touch of leopard is a great way to bring in contrast & print.
  • Wrapping a bandana around your neck adds a cute detail.
  • A utilitarian jacket gives such a off-duty vibe.
  • A wrap around plaid shirt around the waist is the perfect way to add a bit of grunge
  • Floral print gives you more of a pretty feminine touch.

There’s an endless amount of ways you can style your stripe top! Don’t be afraid to have fun and experiment.. or keep it classic and pair it with your favorite basic pieces.
