Flats are one of my favorite things to always 1) buy and 2) wear. I tend to be quite picky when it comes to flats because they have to have certain qualities to fit my “good flat” criteria.
For example, one of the things I always watch out for is how far the front of the shoe goes to cover your toes. I like for my flats to show toe cleavage; it always looks sexier! I also do prefer flats with lace up details because it gives it a more “dress-up” vibe plus, it adds a pretty detail around your ankles.
For colors, I try to stick to black, browns and nudes. They’re more versatile and can be worn for all seasons. These adorable flats from MGEMI are perfect for these last summer days! Worn with classic staples, a white crisp button up and levis, these Brezza flats add the right feminine touch!
Also, loving these Bolla flats for a more traditional ballerina flat.
I love that MGEMI’s shoes are handcrafted in Italy at the highest quality but attainable price points. A bonus: they have new style releases every Monday morning.

Summer in Montauk is all about feeling a bit luxurious but at the same time lookin’ effortless and easy-breezy chic. Pulling out your favorite panama straw hat to cover the bright and hot sun from your face and putting on your favorite little flowy dress has got to be one of my favorite parts about getting dressed for summer on the beach.
This was my first time in Montauk, NY and I was excited to experience something completely different than my normal west coast summer. The vibe was serene and a bit eerie at times… must of been the cloudy, foggy weather that felt lonely but beautiful.
I hung out with my best friend as we laid out by the soft, almost white looking sand while we took in the cloudy sky and talked about life and silly things.
For me, getting dressed for the beach should look effortless. I threw on a flowy, summery LBD and focused more on the accessories. I wore these beautiful John Hardy
pieces which felt so appropriate for such a pretty setting. The stacked bracelets were just the right touch and the braided ring with green amethyst was the bold statement I needed.
Here is my Montauk summer look with John Hardy because I get to experience the best of both worlds. A memorable and stunning summer in Montauk and wear the prettiest of jewelry.
This ring is such a stunner! Just look at it. It beams from a mile away!
Lonely, serene and beautiful.
Accessorizing is key. A panama hat and the right jewelry can make your simple dress look like a million bucks!

Feels so good to be back home in LA where the rows of palm trees are endless and the weather is always above 70 degrees. It always reminds me how much I love this city.
The weather has been a little weird lately with gloomy skies, drizzling here and there, but hot nonetheless. I kind of hate those humid, muggy days! Shorts and sleeveless tee helps keep me cool and fresh through out a busy day in the city.
These isabel marant boots definitely went perfect with this cool fringe tee from red23. Gives it that effortless western vibe!
