I love a good outfit to kickstart my dayāwhen itās comfy, even better! Here, Iām wearing an oversized striped button-up, red shorts, and boat shoes. For my hair, I threw on a headband for those days I donāt want to worry about it. Finished it off with some cute jewelry pieces to feel a little extra put together.
Thereās something about the quiet of the morning, when everyone else is still asleep, that makes me want to open my journal and jot down my thoughts while sipping coffee, even on vacation. Itās a small way to give myself some much-needed āme time.ā I truly believe that how you start your morning sets the tone for the rest of the day. Taking that timeāeven if itās just five minutesāhelps me feel more in control and at ease, even when my plate is full.
If youāre unsure what to write, just ramble. Write about how youāre feeling in the moment, make a to-do list, jot down goals, or note upcoming events in your planner. The key is consistency. Seeing your thoughts on paper can help you understand them, gain clarity, and prevent stress from lingering in your mind. It makes it easier to be proactive or at least feel some sense of control.
