Tropical destinations always bring out my love for playful prints and bold colors, and this polka-dot maxi dress has been one of my favorite looks on this trip. I love how open the chest area is and how the straps beautifully frame the collarbone, and I’m super into dresses that offer a fitted bodice with a flowy, skirt finish. And the flirty little red polka-dot print played perfectly against the beach coastline and the lush palm greenery — absolutely dreamy.

Something else I’d like to point out is how convenient maxi dresses are to pack, since they’re lightweight and can easily do double duty from day to night. I wore this one for a romantic evening walk along the coastline to watch the sunset before heading into town for dinner.

Styling it was so easy, I just threw on a few jewelry pieces. Side note and style tip: I love mixing colors with accessories and jewelry. Pairing this cream dress with red polka dots and a contrasting yellow necklace felt so pretty. For shoes, I went with red thong heels for a little elevated touch and finished with my go-to white shoulder bag by The Row, which honestly comes with me everywhere.
