The World Cup is finally here, and I’ve been loving every minute of it! I’ve been tuning into the matches and cheering on my team, México. ¡Vamos México!

The World Cup only comes around once every four years, which makes it feel even more special. This year’s tournament is being hosted across North America, with matches taking place throughout the United States, Mexico, and Canada—including right here in Los Angeles. Everywhere you go, you can feel the excitement. Whether you’re a die-hard soccer fan or someone who only tunes in during the World Cup, it seems like everyone is joining in on the fun.

One of the things I love most about events like this is how they bring people together. It’s been so fun driving around Los Angeles and seeing crowds gather at local bars, restaurants, watch parties, and neighborhood events. There’s something special about seeing people proudly support their countries and come together through sports.

With one of the biggest sporting events in the world taking over, it’s only natural that people are looking for ways to style their jerseys. I’ve been seeing jerseys paired with everything from jeans and miniskirts to shorts and more elevated pieces. Of course, I had to pull out my Mexico jersey to show my support.

I love pairing unexpected pieces together, so for this look I styled my jersey with red balloon hem shorts, jelly flip-flops, jewelry, and a Gucci bag. I’m always drawn to the mix of sporty and elevated pieces—it feels effortless, chic, and perfect for game day. If I were heading to a match in person, I’d probably swap the shorts for a pair of vintage Levi’s and trade the flip-flops for sneakers or ballet flats.
