White denim shorts are easily my go-to summer staple. Minimal and effortless, they have a way of making even the simplest outfit look pulled together, and their versatility is unmatched.

While there are so many styles of white shorts out there, I opted for a crisp white pair with a comfortable, semi-loose silhouette—that ideal middle-ground fit that isn’t too short or too long. Since the shorts have a more relaxed feel, I paired them with an oversized poplin shirt and slingback ballet flats to create a polished yet casual look. I also added a baseball cap for a subtle sporty element; it’s a small detail, but it brings a fresh, cool vibe to the whole outfit.

I wore this to do a little shopping at Le Bon Marché before grabbing dinner at Tarantula Paris—my favorite Mexican spot in Paree!
