One of my favorite places to visit in Provence is Château La Coste. Set among the vineyards in the South of France, it’s part winery, part art destination, and full of incredible architecture.

It would be an understatement to say this place is stunning. We spent the afternoon taking it all in—wandering through the vineyards, exploring the grounds—and ended the day with pizza and the most delicious wine produced right on the estate. It felt like the absolute perfect way to wrap things up.

Scattered throughout the property are works by major artists, including Annie Morris’s colorful Stacks series. Yoshitomo Nara’s striking white bronze heads (both pictured in this post), and so many others. Stumbling across all these giant sculptures along the trail was amazing, and the whole place leaves you feeling so inspired. 

For my look, I wanted to keep things effortless, classic, and a little elevated. I wore my absolute favorite pants by Donni with a lightweight knitted button-down, my go-to Chan Luu necklace, and sleek sandals. I finished it off with this adorable little shell-covered mini tote, which honestly felt like the perfect accessory for the setting.

Beyond the art, Château La Coste is a place where you can easily spend an entire day, grabbing a long lunch or dinner at one of their restaurants and wandering at your own pace. You can even stay overnight at Villa La Coste, their gorgeous luxury hotel on the property, which is definitely on my bucket list for next time. Another cool thing I loved is that it’s completely kid-friendly; my son spent so much of the day running around the grass and exploring.

And something I learned (and now want to go back for!) is that on summer evenings they show classic French films outdoors. Everyone brings blankets and chairs, sets up a little spot on the lawn, and settles in with little bites and wine while watching the film under the stars. Sounds the like the most magical summer night!
