If you’re getting ready for a trip to Aspen prepare for crisp air, breathtaking views, and seriously chic winter fashion. Beyond the slopes, Aspen is known for its cozy hotel lobbies, luxe shopping, and charming downtown. Naturally, you’ll want your wardrobe to match the vibe. The backdrops make for incredible photo moments, so having a cute fit is a must. Expect to see puffer jackets, shearling and faux-fur coats, and cold-weather essentials like beanies and mittens. It’s the perfect place to finally break out my heavy winter pieces that never see the light of day since I don’t live in a snowy climate.
When packing, make sure to bring layers-warm, skin-tight long sleeves and leggings are key for wearing under your main pieces. These base layers are essential when you’re not in the mood for bulkier items. For example, here I layered a fitted turtleneck under a cardigan knit, and I wore leggings beneath my jeans for extra warmth. Tip: Baggy or boyfriend jeans are ideal; I size up so I can comfortably fit leggings underneath. For accessories, this faux-fur hat kept me warm, and these snow boots were heaven on my feet. The key is bundling up in pieces that are not only chic but practical.

Having my parents on this trip was such a delight—they absolutely fell in love with Aspen and its charming streets. My son had a magical time playing in the snow—it was definitely one for the books. Cozy, fun, quality time with my family plus a little shopping… what more could I ask for?
