If there’s one thing I love about summer, it’s all the poolside hangs, beach days, bbq’s with fam & friends etc! It’s literally the season for fun times in the sun. Now, a very important question of “what do I wear?”. Ofc if I’m planning to take a dip in the pool I’ll be in a bathing suit. But for those pool parties where I’ll be socializing, snacking or maybe even heading to another location afterwards,  we are going to need something more than just a cover up! 

Start with your swimsuit then work your way around it. On this day I went with a bikini – bikini tops are a great choice as they can be worn as a makeshift bralette. Next pick your cover up – a button-up is an ideal choice. I suggest wearing it open to show off your bikini top / some skin. For the bottoms, I’m really into flowy wide leg pants this season. They’re super comfy & chic. Finally accessories – I love seeing bold / statement jewelry pieces poolside. Especially tropical charms like seashells or beads – plus they make your outfit really pop. For the shoes, bring two pairs – slides for the pool and a pair of low heels for a night out.
