Five looks for different occasions

Los Angeles, CA February 14

If you’re looking for outfit ideas for different occasions, I’ve got you covered with five go-to looks. I always try to dress with intention, considering the formality of an event—even if it’s just a casual day out. I want my outfit to reflect the overall vibe of where my day will take me. Whether I’m heading to a casual meeting, a formal event, or a day in the city, having a lineup of versatile looks makes getting dressed so much easier.

Ahead, five outfit ideas to consider.

CASUAL MEETING

For a casual meeting, you want to feel polished but not overly dressed. The best approach? Mixing casual and elevated pieces. A blazer and denim combo always does the trick. Work with elements that add structure-like an oversized blazer-while keeping things effortless with a good pair of jeans, chic flats, and simple jewelry.

BRUNCH DATE

Probably one of my favorite occasions to dress for. Depending on the vibe of the spot, a denim maxi skirt is such a great choice, it’s the perfect balance between casual and put-together. Style it with an airy long-sleeve or a cozy knit, bold jewelry, and flats for an easy, sweet look. Want to elevate it even further? Swap the flats for a low kitten heel. Perfect for day drinks and a long brunch with your besties.

TRAVEL LOOK

When dressing for travel, comfort is key. A lounge set or sweats are my go-to’s, but oversized jeans are also a great option, the roomy fit makes them extra comfortable. Pair them with a sweatshirt for added coziness (and layer a tee underneath for easy temperature changes). As for shoes, I like to keep it practical with flats or Birkenstocks. Easy to slip on and off while on the go.

MUSEUM DATE

A day at the museum is always well spent, and even better when you wear a cool outfit. I love art just as much as I love the art of getting dressed, so why not make it a moment? My go-to: a trench coat layered over a simple tee and jeans, paired with my favorite sneakers and a hat. It’s an effortless, casual-cool vibe, and perfect for a photo op next to your favorite Matisse or Van Gogh.

COCKTAIL PARTY

Dressing up for a cocktail party is always fun-there are endless ways to go about it, but you can never go wrong with an LBD. Right now, I’m loving a fitted bodice with a bubble skirt or a unique, voluminous bottom. It’s flirty, fun, and flattering. Style it with bold earrings—think chandeliers or a statement spark—a chic kitten heel, and sleek black sunnies for a touch of mystery.
