I am realizing more and more that I am a huge fan of clogs! They’re incredibly versatile and although at first, they might be really stiff and loud to walk in, they’re so comfy once you’ve broken them in! I also personally think they’re great for summer… especially if you wanna switch it up and try something different aside from your usual strappy sandals.
If you’re on the hunt for some and are unsure of what shape/style to get – I suggest you go with a low platform, in a tan or black color. It’ll be best for comfort & practicality and it’ll match with pretty much everything in your closet! The ones I own are by Dior and I absolutely adore them! (Unfortunately, they’re from a few seasons ago so they’re hard to find, but not to worry I’m linking a few options below). I brought them out the other day on a beautiful sunny day for a lunch date and some shopping! I wore them with a ruffled patterned top and denim shorts. I love the unexpected paring of these items – casual yet polished! The added basket bag is the perfect summery touch! Am I the only one still obsessed with basket bags?
Styling tips: To keep you fresh and airy this summer pair a floral or colorful flowy dress with a print style clog for some fun print on print play! A solid color works too, if you prefer a clean look. For days when you need a quick “throw on and get out the door look,” reach for a t-shirt and tuck it into your favorite loose jeans!
