Los Angeles, CA January 20

One of the best ways to switch up your hair game + everyday look is by adding accessories to your hair. They really have the ability to add some flair to your hair + are great for the days you don’t wash your hair. 😉

If you’re looking for ways to start adding them to your looks, I’ve got some inspiration for you. From headbands, to hair clips, to scrunchies, keep scrolling through to see several ways I’ve incorporated hair accessories to my hair.

HEADBANDS

I always tend to gravitate towards headbands. They’re super easy to style, so sleek and chic. Currently I’m into padded and embellished ones. One way I like to style my hair with a headband is by parting my hairline down the middle, and placing the headband toward the back of your hair. Another simple way to style your hair is by starting at your hairline and pulling it back. Add a statement earring for a bit of glam. Voila!

HAIR CLIPS

There’s just something about hair clips that always feels effortless. There are so many styles out on the market now from modern, blingy, parisian, and artsy colorful designs, the options feel endless. I like to add a nice wave to my hair and clipping two on either side of my part. For more of a statement look, I like to add a mix of 2 jumbo and 2 small clips.

CLAW HAIR CLIPS

Claw clips are useful as they can hold a lot of hair. I like to reach for them when I put my hair up in a bun. Perfect for those days when you don’t wash your hair. Style your bun high or low with some hoop earrings. So cute!

SCRUNCHIES

Scrunchies hold a special place in my heart as they remind me of my childhood. They’re timeless, classic and chic. I’m loving all the fun styles we’ve been seeing from oversized sheer styles, florals, and cute prints. For casual outfits, I like to go for a messy high ponytail. To mix things up at night  you just need to add some cute drop earrings plus a bold lip to instantly elevate your look.

HEADSCARF

Head Scarfs are so special and versatile. For an iconic Hollywood take, fold your scarf in half, place it loosely over your head, then knot it under your chin. Another cute way to style your scarf is by leaving several strands of hair in the front of your face, then put your remaining hair up in a messy bun, and finally place your scarf around your head and tie it at the top.

HATS

I’m through and through a hat person. I especially love baseball caps – they instantly give your outfit a cool vibe. Plus they’re great for the days when you’re pressed on time. 😉
