Very difficult to type what I feel or what I want to say about these brutal Asian hate crimes all over the US without getting choked up. I’m so heartbroken, sad, upset. This hits home for me, I have family that is Asian; my niece, nephew and sister-in-law are Vietnamese, and I worry about them. I can’t even imagine all the mixed feelings they are going thru everyday that they wake up. Some of my closest best friends are Asian, so hearing them express their emotions to me about what’s going on, is devastating. I feel so helpless. To my Asian family, friends, colleagues, and to all my Asian community, I’m standing with you. I will not tolerate this and will try and do whatever I can to speak up and help protect my loved ones and our Asian community. Sending all those affected by this, so much strength and love. This is reminder of unity to any of us who have felt the pain of discrimination. We are stronger together. ❤️ Please check on your AAPI friends, family or loved ones.
