There are a few wardrobe staples I rely on heavily, but a classic white button-down easily takes the top spot. Oversized, versatile, and timeless, it’s my absolute go-to when I have no idea what to wear. For summer, nothing beats a shirt-and-shorts combination—whether you dress it up or down, you simply can’t go wrong.

If you want to elevate the outfit beyond a basic formula, opt for pieces with unique silhouettes. Pairing a structured button-down with balloon-style shorts gives the ensemble a much more fashion-forward feel.  To get into the seasonal vibe, I added raffia textures with this Loewe bag and woven ballet flats, then finished it off with minimal jewelry. It’s effortless, but the thoughtful details make all the difference.
