I only spent a short time in Cascais, but it didn’t take long for me to fall in love with this charming coastal town. If you’ve never been to Portugal, Cascais offers a soft, effortless seaside vibe with beautiful beaches, cafés, fresh seafood, and scenic ocean views around almost every corner.
In between work commitments, I still found moments to slow down – morning espressos, walks along the beach, lunches (their seafood is incredible!), and the sound of waves constantly in the background. Destinations like this always inspire my outfits. I kept things light and easy, rotating a few staple pieces throughout the trip while mixing in some chic looks that felt perfect for the setting.
I ended up taking so many photos of the coastline, beach textures, a few memorable dishes, and the outfits I reached for. Ahead, I’m sharing some of those moments along with links to similar and in some cases exact pieces if you’re looking for outfit inspiration for your own coastal getaway.
Hope you enjoy!

Airport Look
I’m someone who likes to put a little thought into my airport outfits. My go-to travel uniform is usually a trench coat styled with a simple tee, sweats, and a baseball cap. For shoes, I tend to alternate between loafers and sneakers depending on the vibe. To elevate the look a bit, I always add a few pieces of jewelry to tie everything together. Comfortable, effortless, and still chic.
Golden hour
I love an evening view of the ocean. At this hour, the beach was nearly empty, which made it feel even more peaceful. I was able to snap this photo from the deck while listening to the waves in the background — honestly such a dreamy moment.
Easy Breezy Look
I love basics so much. The key is mixing simple pieces together in a way that still feels styled and personal. Here, I paired an oversized long sleeve with capri leggings — and honestly, these leggings have become one of my go-to because they’re so easy to dress up or down while still being incredibly comfortable.
To make the look feel a little more interesting, I wrapped a knit around the waist and paired everything with ballerina flats. A delicate anklet and a necklace that added the perfect finishing touches. It’s one of those effortless outfits that still feels really put together for walking around and exploring all day.
Seaside lunch
I’m usually not the biggest oyster person, but these were excellent. We had them with jamón, fresh bread, and a few different dips on the side — everything was so fresh and flavorful.
Leather Mini Skirt Moment
I love pairing unexpected pieces together, like this leather mini skirt with a sporty windbreaker jacket (shop it here). It felt cool and edgy while still being surprisingly comfortable. Since the jacket already adds a lot of structure to the look, I pulled my hair back into a ponytail and added some bold jewelry to balance everything out.
This ended up being the perfect outfit for that in-between weather — not too hot, not too cold.
Pastel de Nata
I am completely obsessed with this pastry. It has an incredibly flaky, buttery puff pastry crust and a rich egg custard center that gets beautifully caramelized and blistered on top. It was so good that I found myself constantly walking back to the bakery for just one more.
On-the-Go Fit
A little athleisure moment for walking around and exploring. I styled vintage Adidas shorts with a long sleeve, a bomber jacket, and a knit tied around the waist for an extra layer and a bit more texture. Comfortable outfits always win for long days of exploring, but I still like adding small styling details to make the look feel intentional.
Postcard from the beach
I love people-watching at the beach while feeling the ocean breeze and listening to the waves. The beaches here felt so beautiful and romantic. I especially loved seeing all the colorful umbrellas scattered across the sand — it made everything feel even more cinematic and lively.
Leather Mini Skirt Pt. 2
I absolutely adore a sporty-chic moment — mixing casual sporty pieces with more elevated items is one of my favorite ways to style outfits. I loved this leather skirt so much that I had to wear it again, this time with a black button-down, a statement necklace by Julietta, and a baseball cap.
There’s just something about pairing a casual hat with bold jewelry that feels so effortless yet elevated at the same time.
