I often find myself doing my workouts or having a yoga session in the morning and then having a busy day of running a ton of errands. On days like these when I don’t really have the time or desire to run home and change, I like to be mindful of what I’m going to throw on and make sure my workout outfit can easily transition to streetwear.

The key to making your post-workout look pulled together is to incorporate some everyday items to your workout fit. This can be a jean jacket, blazer, accessories (this is a key element), knit etc. Honestly, any outerwear that isn’t meant for the gym will make a workout outfit look and feel intentional. So make sure to have your gym bag ready with these essentials so you can go from yoga class to your meeting to errands to dinner!

Since the days have been getting warmer here in LA, biker shorts have been my go-to workout bottoms. The sweet thing about biker shorts is that they are so versatile and can easily be dressed up. Here I wore them with the Willow tank and paired them with a dad sandal, purple socks for a pop of color and some gold jewelry to finish. This is the perfect post yoga look for a full day of errands. Comfortable and functional.

Another way this outfit would work is to swap the sandals and socks for low heels (or sneakers) and throw on a blazer and a statement necklace. This look will have you looking ready for a meeting or brunch date! So easy and chic!

  1. The tank tops are so cute but can they be used for high intensity workouts? Heated spin class, heated yoga?
