There’s something about New York that makes me want to lean into bolder style choices. I love how the city embraces fashion that feels a little extra, especially in the winter when layering is essential. In LA, I rarely get the change to wear a big faux fur coat without feeling over-the-top, but in New York, it just works. So, of course, I took full advantage.
Between dashing to meetings, grabbing coffee, shopping in SoHo, visiting friends’ studios, and meeting up for dinner, my faux fur coat became my go-to. It instantly elevated every outfit while keeping me warm.
For a casual-chic look, pair it with a cardigan and jeans, a baseball cap, a tote bag, a belt, and loafers. The perfect ‘fit for roaming the city in comfort and style.

COOL SPOTS TO CHECK OUT:
Bandit – My friend’s super beautiful and cool new store that carries athletic gear. There’s also a cute coffee shop inside. If you’re in the West Village, you have to stop by!
Sartiano’s – If you’re craving Italian, this is the spot! The food, drinks, and ambiance are fantastic. Highly recommend.
SoHo – No trip to NY is complete without a little shopping! I made sure to stop by Manolo Blahnik… if only I could take every shoe home with me.

Quick outfit change for Sartiano’s! I swapped loafers for a low heel and traded my tote for a sleek shoulder bag. It’s a simple switch, but these small adjustments can make all the difference when transitioning from daytime look to a more polished evening outfit-effortless yet elevated.
