Before I get into the actual post, I just wanted to say thank you so much for all the sweet comments, messages and DM’s I received for the re-launch of Sj! Reading through what you guys wrote really justified why I started Sj and why I wanted to get back on here. I feel so humbled by your guys’ response and excitement! That is what inspires me! Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart my Sj dreamers!
Okay, now let’s get into it. You’ve come to the right place if you want to talk sneakers! I am and forever will be a sneaker girl! My love began when I was in the 6th grade, there wasn’t anything I wanted more than a fresh pair of sneakers. I remember always wanting to get my hands on the latest drop from various brands like: Nike, Jordans, Vans, Saucony (remember this brand?), New Balance, Adidas etc. Sneaker addict at its finest over here! 😉
Sneakers are so versatile and can be dressed up or down which is why I love wearing them so much! Here I paired my Air Jordan 1’s with a Nike fleece sweater, a good pair of denim and a baseball hat for a sporty casual vibe to run errands!
Here are a couple of easy tips to elevate your look with sneakers:
- Throw on a blazer with jeans and a cute tee tucked in for a polished look – Converse sneakers will be perfect to pair this with.
- Do a pretty short flowy floral dress with a denim jacket for a brunch date with your gfs – pair this look with socks and a pair of New Balance 990!
- Wear an oversized button up shirt with either biker shorts or denim shorts for a day of shopping – throw on some cute Golden Goose sneakers and voila!
Sneakers don’t have to be about just working out, wear them with your casual outfits and look cute while also being super comfy! I’m going to post more sneaker looks; there’s so many sneakers so I’ll try to show you how to wear different types of sneakers!
