Currently reminiscing about my time in Europe this past summer. This one was unlike any other — I made the conscious decision to be more present and spend less time on socials. That meant slower days, soaking in the little moments, and truly being aware of my surroundings. I wanted to take it all in, especially the moments with my family.
My son is getting bigger by the minute, and making sure I don’t miss a thing feels more important than ever. He’s more aware now, and watching him recognize familiar places — especially his favorite ice cream shops, was the sweetest thing. Those little moments felt like pure magic.
Being in another country for five months naturally shifts your routine and the pace of your days. While I have the privilege of working remotely, my routine in France was slower and more relaxed: lazy mornings, walks to nearby cafés, picking up fresh blooms before starting my day. Even though I spent less time on social media, I still couldn’t help capturing moments of beauty and inspiration — it’s just part of who I am.
Ahead are seven little things that brought me so much happienss during my time in Europe:
xx Jules
Cute Fits
I love an effortless outfit for a stroll through the farmers market — think a cute mini skirt, oversized button-down, flip-flops, hair in a bun, and an easy, breezy vibe. Simple and chic. Get the look here.
Fresh Blooms
I’m a sucker for fresh flowers. If there’s a flower stand nearby, I’m absolutely stopping. One of my favorite routines in France was picking up blooms each morning — especially these sunflowers. How precious are they?
Cute Fit, Pt. 2
I love pairing unexpected pieces together — like this tee with a plaid midi skirt, styled with my Chanel bag and a dainty red necklace. I adore this combo and can’t wait to recreate it again soon. Get the look here.
Architecture
The architecture in France feels straight out of a fairytale, brick buildings, arched doorways, balconies draped with greenery. I’ll never get over it. Every corner looks like a storybook scene, and honestly, that’s how this past summer felt too.
Food Adventures
I’m a total foodie, so finding delicious local spots is always a must. This plate of spaghetti and meatballs, with a side of fresh bread — was everything. Simple pleasures are my kind of heaven.
Lunch Al Fresco
There’s something so special about sitting outside for a meal; sipping coffee, people-watching, and catching up with friends. Sharing food, laughter, and little moments under the sun feels priceless.
My Little One
My darling boy! I love dressing him in the cutest little outfits. He’s so full of energy and always curious. Watching him run around, play with local kids, and even pick up a few French words melted my heart. Get his little look here.
Cute Kittens
It was the sweetest thing seeing cats roaming the streets, so carefree, adored by locals, and living their best little lives in the villages. They added even more charm to an already beautiful place.
