What to pack for a euro trip!

Reims, France July 14

A European getaway can be one of the most exciting travel experiences one can have, especially during the summer. However, when it comes to planning what to pack, things can be super stressful. I’m truly grateful to be able to travel often, which has helped me refine my packing list to just the essentials.

I always like to go the neutral / solid color route because they’re versatile, chic and pretty effortless when it comes to mixing and matching different pieces of items together. Ahead I’ve put together a list of some of my essential pieces I like to pack with me on my euro adventures. Happy travels!

OVERSIZED BUTTON-UP

This one is a no-brainer! No matter where I’m going in the world, I’ll be packing an oversized button. They’re super versatile, laid-back and you can pretty much wear them with anything! Throw it over your swim, pair it with shorts or denim or even some biker shorts! Easy does it.

BASKET BAG & CROSSBODY BAG

The best part of a basket bag is that no matter how expensive or inexpensive they are, they can make any outfit look luxe and chic. While there are a ton of options out there, I recommend bringing two options – an oversized one that you can bring with you while you shop at local markets, and a smaller one to compliment your favorite summer dress & heels for cocktail hour.

A cross body bag is perfect for when you’re doing some exploring, you’re going to want to be hands-free so you can get those photo op moments & enjoy a gelato without any hassle.

BOTTOMS

Two key bottoms I like to pack are some white trousers and my fave levis. Some parts of Europe can be muy caliente, a pair of white airy trousers are not only comfortable but v. cute – wear them with a tank as I’ve done here, slides and your fave bag for an effortless day of exploring.

Levi’s (shorts or pants) are another no brainer I like to bring with me. When in doubt, pair them with a cute top, sandals or sneakers.

SHOES

I always pack 3 dif kinds of shoes – sneakers (preferably a dad shoe for extra comfort) for those long days of wandering, sandals for a cute picnic or brunch setting and a heeled slide for cocktail hour.

MAKE-UP

Don’t forget to pack your makeup essentials. I like to make sure to pack a powder compact, liquid blush, fave lip balm and a face mist. It’s nice to be able to touch up here and there to feel refreshed.
