An outfit from a couple of posts ago I was talking about denim and how much I love a good pair of skinny jeans – a definite must-have in every girl’s wardrobe. In this post however, I’m focusing on denim too but in a completely different silhouette. I’m talking about the straight-leg crop jean!
I’ve always been a little skeptical to try a different silhouette outside of my regular boyfriend or skinny jeans that I’m used to but I came across these crop jeans while shopping at Nordstrom and instantly gravitated towards the frayed hems.
I’m all about showing off my ankles and having special details so these were the perfect fit. The worn-in look totally fits my laid back style too!
How do you feel about the straight-leg crop jean trend? Yay or Nay? Share!
Patches were so on trend this season, they were everywhere from handbags to sweaters and jeans to everything in between. I love how they add a touch of whimsical and playfulness to what you’re wearing.
This blazer from Storets was perfect to head to meetings with its’ fun quirky patches, it definitely becomes a conversation starter!
I think patches are a cool way to be original and stand out, I recommend buying a piece like this blazer that is versatile and can be worn with different looks and shoes. I also recommend starting a collection of your own patches from different stores or flea markets to make your own piece; Patches are inexpensive and can definitely add the cool-girl factor to your item of clothes!
I like that it doesn’t have too many patches… it’s nice and subtle!
A bit oversized is definitely my go-to style for blazers.
Fall season is in full swing and although I’m still craving to wear thick knits and jeans with booties, I have to settle with just wearing cute jeans since the weather in LA is still fairly warm. Kinda sucks!
Anyway, I bought a couple of new jeans from Nordstrom, my definite go-to shop both on and off-line. I teamed up with Nordstrom to showcase how I style some of my favorite denim. My first pick was a pair of skinny cropped jeans from AG.
When it comes to skinny jeans, I always make sure they sit a bit low on my waist so I can tuck in my shirts from the front. I also like them to be cropped because I love showing off my shoes and ankles… it’s my thing. *insert blushing face here*.
I always tend to gravitate towards distressed jeans with rips and all but decided this time to grab a pair that was the complete opposite. Instead, I focused on a super nice wash and the right fit. Stay tuned for what my next pair of denim is!
